**Who They Are
**
Our client is a well-known West Coast Distribution business looking for a Business Manager for their very successful Tacoma location. They're looking for someone who understands how transactions impact the financial statements, provides financial analysis, and assists with Month-End close processes. Additionally, it would be helpful if they can oversee the admin team at the branch, including the processing of AR/AP.


**What You'll Do**




- Lead, coach, and guide clerical, sales, and/or office personnel in daily job duties to ensure proper inventory and accounting controls


- Collaborate with appropriate managers and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective execution of procedures or make recommendations and solutions to meet business needs


- Manage information systems and processes and also process change, implementation, and testing, and communicate the processes to the organization

- Oversee and provide financial analysis and reporting as required


- Assist controller with monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes


- Assist in the preparation of the yearly budget, strategic planning, and forecasting for the Branch


- Coordinate hiring, performance and wage evaluations, and discipline of staff and related paperwork, coordinating and maintaining schedules as necessary with Corporate


- Direct maintenance of confidential personnel records

- Oversee Branch Accounts Payable verification and coordination of payments with Corporate

- Oversee payroll transmission and coordination with Corporate, including verifying all Branch payrolls


- Direct correspondence and maintain communication with Corporate office to maintain proper flow of accounting and reconciliation

- Maintain and/or coordinate Branch/Region Accounts Receivable, including credit records and collection efforts

- Oversee and direct setup and maintenance of office equipment

- Perform other work-related duties as assigned by your supervisor and be flexible and adaptable to changes that will occur during the course of employment
