We have been retained by one of the largest commercial roofing manufacturers in the US! They are in need of a Field Technical Rep! We are looking for someone with strong attentiveness to detail and a technical knowledge of commercial roofing products.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and cultivate relationships with existing regulatory bodies and vendor partners
- Analyze consumer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build vs. buy perspective
- Work directly with the technical department to develop warrantable systems with new and existing products
- Analyze market data routinely to continually be on market with current regulatory demands and trends, as well as anticipate future changes and updates
- Attend educational workshops, review professional publications, establish personal networks, and participate in professional societies to further professional and technical knowledge
- College degree (Business, Sales, Supply Chain Management, or other related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge and experience with low-slope, commercial roofing products specifically related to Coatings, Caulks and Sealants, Repair and Maintenance Products, Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) and Modified Bitumen (SA/Torch), EPDM, PVC, TPO, ISO, Gypsum Cover boards, Fasteners, etc.
- Proven experience in a dynamic product management and technical/regulatory role
- Must have a valid driver’s license, own reliable transportation, be able to pass MVR check, and vehicle insurance must meet the company’s requirements
