Having grown up in West Michigan, Ellie attended Hope College where she double-majored, earning her B.A. in both Business and Japanese (she’s actually achieved the second most advanced level of the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test, N2!).
Since then, she’s spent her time in a variety of interesting roles, serving as a Systems Coordinator for an equipment manufacturer, training AI models in both English and Japanese, providing sales and marketing support for a vibration testing and measurement systems company, and managing administrative tasks for a non-profit organization. Through those roles, she discovered a love for business operations, leading her to join the Bridger Group team as our Operations Associate.
When she isn’t at work, Ellie spends time with her husband and their two gerbils. She loves keeping herself busy by mending and embroidering clothes, coordinating Japanese-speaking meet-ups, hammocking, and being in charge of choosing the music. A fun fact about her: while she’s known by everyone as Ellie, her name is actually Gabrielle!
