What You’ll Do
We are working with Executive Leadership team of a rapidly growing division within a $150M+ construction contractor that has retained us to identify a Chief Controller/Senior Finance Leader to support their New Jersey operations and parent company as they continue to scale.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee full-cycle accounting, including AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and revenue recognition
- Manage job costing and project financials
- Provide financial reporting, controls, and analysis to the President and leadership team
- Support 5–8 active projects at a time
- Help build scalable financial processes to support continued growth
- Serve as a strategic financial partner to the business
- 8+ years of accounting/finance experience, including Controller-level leadership
- Strong command of full-cycle accounting, including AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, POC revenue recognition, and job costing
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and audit processes
- Microsoft Business Central experience preferred Background in construction, contracting, or another project-based environment a plus
