Who They Are
We have partnered with a $600M+ private equity–backed commercial landscaping services leader operating across 20+ states with 60+ branches and 4,000 employees. The company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Sales Operations & Marketing to build and scale a disciplined, data-driven enterprise sales organization while preserving its successful regional, locally led operating model. This role is remote with regular national travel.

What You’ll Do
  • Create and lead the enterprise sales infrastructure, including standardized processes, KPIs, forecasting systems, cadence, and performance management tools
  • Professionalize the sales function through data-driven decision-making, AI-enabled tools, and scalable systems to enable local teams to maintain executional ownership
  • Improve pipeline visibility and forecasting accuracy
  • Drive sales effectiveness
  • Coach and develop Business Development Managers
  • Ensure alignment across sales, marketing, pricing, compensation, and operations

What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing, or related field)
  • Advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred but not required
  • Experience leading both commercial functions and operational teams, with a demonstrated ability to translate sales strategy into executable, scalable operations
  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in sales, commercial operations, or related roles, with at least 5 years leading senior sales or commercial leaders in a multi-site or regional environment through periods of growth and change
  • Experience supporting significant revenue growth within a complex, multi-region organization
  • Proven ability to scale sales organizations while maintaining accountability and consistency
  • Experience aligning sales, marketing, pricing, and operations in support of enterprise objectives
  • Ability to travel nationally (25-40%)
