Who They Are
Our client is a 140-year-old, privately held, $100M manufacturer of Education Furniture. They are looking for a Business Development manager to focus on driving business leads on large scale projects nationally with end users, A&D, and dealers. Compensation is competitive with a base in the low-mid six-figure range with uncapped monthly commission.

What You’ll Do
  • Identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth through innovative food court, dining, and commons area solutions within education, corporate, and hospitality sectors
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with architects, designers, dealers, and end users to expand market share and drive repeat business.
  • Develop and implement territory and account plans to achieve annual sales objectives
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events to represent the busniess and expand professional connections

What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management—preferably in furniture, interior design, or architectural solutions
  • Proven success in developing strategic partnerships and closing complex, design-driven projects
  • Expereince developing business on a national scale within the education furniture environment is strongly preferred
