This person will be producing estimates and quotations for a variety of project types throughout Central NY. The ideal person will have an estimation or design background in building products and be familiar with CAD software. What You’ll Do
Our client is a family-owned distributor of building products looking for a Construction Services Engineer to add to their team. This person will be producing estimates and quotations for a variety of project types throughout Central NY. The ideal person will have an estimation or design background in building products and be familiar with CAD software. This position features a great compensation package and plenty of room for growth!
What You’ll Do
- Operate and manage a robotic layout system
- Coordinate directly with general contractors, superintendents, and jobsite personnel
- Prepare truss quotes and perform basic truss design using Alpine software
- Complete material takeoffs and cost estimating for construction projects
- 3+ years in construction, preconstruction, estimating, or design-related roles
- Field experience in construction or framing strongly preferred
- Proficient in CAD software
