Who They Are
We have been retained by a leading manufacturer serving the multifamily construction market to help them identify a high-impact National Sales Manager to drive revenue growth across key U.S. regions. This is a true hunter role focused on building pipeline, winning new business, and closing complex deals with developers, architects, and general contractors. This position offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in expanding national market presence while working directly with executive decision-makers on large-scale multifamily projects. The successful candidate will have proven success selling into multifamily developers and/or general contractors, a strong understanding of construction processes, timelines, and project cycles, and at rack record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. Competitive base salary plus uncapped incentive compensation and great long-term upside potential.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with multifamily developers, architects, and general contractors nationwide
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers including Developers, Heads of Construction, and Preconstruction teams
  • Develop and manage a robust national sales pipeline across multiple regions and markets
  • Drive specification and early-stage engagement to position products on upcoming projects
  • Support geographic expansion efforts into new and emerging markets
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
  • Collaborate internally with leadership, operations, and project teams to ensure successful project execution

What You’ll Need

  • 7+ years of experience in construction materials or building products sales
  • Proven success selling into multifamily developers and/or general contractors
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, timelines, and project cycles
  • Demonstrated ability to manage long, complex sales cycles from specification through close
  • Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Hunter mentality with a proactive, business development-driven approach
  • Willingness to travel nationally as needed
