They have retained us to find a Regional Sales Manager to take over an existing book of business throughout the Chicagoland area. This person will be working through their established dealer network while also working downstream with builders and remodelers. Ideally this candidate would have window experience but not required.

This person will be working through their established dealer network while also working downstream with builders and remodelers. Ideally this candidate would have window experience but not required.
What You’ll Do
- Pull-through sales
- Work with dealers and call on builders/remodelers
- Business development including joint selling, product training, PTQ training, development and implementation of account plans, and working with builders and architects to promote the company’s products
- Conduct market analyses to determine key market players and identify the best distributor(s) for a long-term and successful partnershi
- Secure key market players as customers
- Strengthen current and new customer relations
- Visit customers independently
- Prepare and implement a sales plan with customers
- Meet established sales goals for the assigned region
What You’ll Need
- Four-year college degree preferred
- 2-5+ years doing similar work with window manufacturer or millwork distributor
- Proven success at establishing and growing a customer base
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Experience selling windows is strongly preferred
- Experience selling some kind of exterior building product is acceptable
- Ability to occasionally travel, sometimes overnight
