Who They Are
Our client is the most unique company in the composite decking space and they are looking for a sharp sales person for their markets in Virginia and West Virginia. Specifically, they’re hoping to hire someone around Richmond, Charlottesville, or Fredericksburg, VA. The company haa a unique manufacturing process that makes the product stronger AND more aesthetically pleasing. This position will have a strong base salary and commission, plus a company car.

What You’ll Do
  • Develops profitable new business relationships and grow sales in the existing accounts.
  • Facilitates meetings with current and potential customers that foster and maintain relationships with those customers.
  • Generates outbound communication to potential and existing customers by telephone, e-mail, and in-person to qualify leads and sell products and services.
  • Plans, organizes, and directs activities and services that enhance the customer experience and ensures customers are satisfied with the Company’s products and services.
  • Forecasts sales for the territory utilizing CRM pipeline data. Enter new customer data and other sales information for current customers into
  • Enters new customer data and other sales information for current customers into database.
  • Identifies and develops new leads and customers by using information in newspapers, business directories, industry news, trade shows, Internet, and other networking outlets.
  • Attends customer events, tradeshows, industry gatherings, and meetings.
  • Maintains adequate product knowledge and stay up to date on Company’s product offerings and features.
  • Displays and demonstrate the features of Envision’s products to current and potential customers
  • Prepares price quotes and terms as needed to achieve sales; prepares sales contracts for customer orders.
  • Works as a member of the Envision sales and marketing team to provide feedback and information that can be used to enhance and better promote the Company’s selling tools and go-to-market strategy.
  • Keeps customers up to date by providing current samples, literature, and product training.
  • Manages day-to-day performance and activities using Salesforce.
  • Effectively presents and proposes changes and programs to the leadership team that would help achieve the Company objectives.
  • Represents the Company in a professional manner and demonstrate the Company’s core values.
  • Complies with safety regulations and maintains safe and orderly work areas.
  • Extensive travel required to support sales initiatives; may require multiple day stays with overnights.

What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred.
  • 2-5 years of progressive experience in a related role, preferably in the building products industry.
  • Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a diverse peer group and customer base; must be able to articulate ideas clearly and resolve conflicts with customers and peers quickly and professionally.
  • Must possess competent skills using the Microsoft Office suite of products, including but not limited to Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Must possess an unrelenting commitment to CRM and thrive in networking and industry-event settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to fully commit to and support the business and its products.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead/grow sales and create/maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to use tactical thought processes when navigating selling situations
