We’re working with a well-known designer lighting fixture company specializing in ceiling, wall, table, and floor architectural lighting, ceiling fans, systems controls, and automated shading solutions. Their primary focus is providing beautiful designs and a world-class customer experience across all products and price points.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead all aspects of the project life-cycle, from specification to procurement, marketing and operational resources to assist in solution development or implementation.
  • Access target customers and project leads; conduct 16 face-to-face weekly sales calls
  • Effectively present the company’s value proposition to influence customers
  • Network with developers, design and procurement firms
  • Manage existing customers to ensure retention and continued sales growth
  • Use proprietary CRM to manage a priority-based schedule with existing and target customers
  • Develop a strong knowledge of the company’s product offering, service value propositions, and operating systems
  • Analyze and interprete data to drive decision making
  • Work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals, identify problems, and implement solutions
  • Exhibit and adhere to established company values
  • Demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule while being present in the workplace to effectively collaborate and communicate amongst co-workers and teams

What You’ll Need
  • 5+ years in FF&E product sales in the Hospitality industry
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field is required (equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered for this role)
  • A comprehensive understanding of the FF&E, and/or lighting specifiers
  • Proven track record of cultivating relationships with key decision makers in the specification, approval, and purchasing process
  • Passion for design and construction markets
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Independent, proactive and self-motivated person who will offer exceptional service to our customers
  • Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation
  • Proficient using the Microsoft Office software suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Experience with a CRM system is preferred
  • Ability to understand and adapt to complex distribution channels
  • Able to quickly develop rapport and credibility
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication across all contact channels, including email, chat and phone
  • Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends, early mornings, late evenings
  • Ability to work as a 1099 employee
