A letter from Jordan Underwood, one of our Managing Partners
Every year our firm picks a word or phrase to represent our mentality focus for the coming year. As I sat thinking about this in late 2025, I kept coming back to this idea of how we build something. Success, a business, a life we're proud of, whatever it is. And I realized a lot of it comes down to trusting a proven process.
Next year marks 60 years for The Bridger Group, and in that time SO much has changed about the recruiting industry. Where we used to use the Yellow Pages to find candidates, we now have platforms like LinkedIn. Where we used to call every candidate (which we still do!) we can now follow up with a text or email.
Despite these changes, the actual process of recruiting has stayed largely the same. It still comes down to the people behind the open roles and resumes and our connections with them. Even decades later, the human element is still at the center of it all.
This morning our team came into the office to find a stack of three blocks on their desk representing this year's focus phrase: "Trust the Process."
For nearly six decades our teams have shown up every single day. They've brought a desire to help clients build stronger businesses and pair candidates with the best next step of their careers. And it's through consistently following our proven processes that we've grown into to the firm we are today. There is a LOT of power in process.
It's easy to get so caught up in where we're going that we lose sight of how we got to where we are. This year we're focusing on trusting the processes that have gotten us here as we continue growing and developing new processes to take us into the future. I'm incredibly excited to see what our team continues to build.
